Headmen

The Legate Sextus Tarwin

An idealistic and capable young man who served with the Legiuons until he lost his arm while attempting to pacify one of the Germanic Tribes.  In his early 40s, he has short brown hair and dresses in a quintessentially roman manner.  He was formerly a Consul and the Headman of Divisium Gwent but, following a military coup backed by the headmen of Lindum Suburbia, he was appointed Legate of the Province of Flavia Caesariensis.  He has since embarked upon a programme of public works.

Consul Tiberius Nwegwe

An old friend of Sextus Tarwin, he uses his Nubian appearance to intimidate his political opponents.  Rumoured to have a network of spies, he is now a Consul and the Headman of Divisium Gwent, one of the better militarily equipped towns in the province.

Sextus Coritanius Capito

Formerly the Legate in charge of Colonia Lindum and the civitate of Flavia Caesariensis as well as a member of the council of electors.  In his 50s, the scion of a clan of aristocrats that have ruled these lands since the Claudian invasion.  Is now under house arrest in Lindum Colonia.

Quintus Caradoc

The headman of the village of Leyma.  A stout, good-natured leader of Coritani stock.  Served in the legions before returning home and taking the position of village headman.

Malacus

The headman of the village of Pomum Cabile.  A tall, bearded and bald man who resembles the Leyma god Harvest.  Originally from Gaul.

Men of Arms

Gauter

A bully who grew up with the player characters and used his position as son of a wealthy farmer to be appointed head of the town guard.  Known for his laziness and his fine wardrobe.

Seppius Krace "The Bald"

Aging legionaire now Dux Bellorum of Flavia Caesariensis.

Olennius

Hawk-nosed Decurion from Lindum, an investigator.

Gildor "The True"

A Brigante warrior met by the group during the battle with the Thin One at Calnum.  Devoutly pagan, trustworthy and honourable.

Men of the Cloth

Claudius Caulas

An out-going and subtle man who serves as The priest of Leyma.  Despite being a Pellagian Christian, he also presides over offerings to Harvest.

Bishop Wignall

An elderly and crotchety man who was one of the few senior priests not to leave Britain with the legions.  Superstitious and not particularly politically active, he nonetheless has a loyal flock in a large church in Lindum.

Math

A dwarf druid.  Skilled as a healer, he lapses in and out of lucidity displaying flashes of political nous, mystical evasiveness and outright madness.

Merchants

Graccus Torus

Itinerant trader who, while based in Lindum, would travel to the nearby towns buying their trade goods for resale.  Has seemingly moved back to the continent.
